- Abstract
The plan to produce chestnut hybrid materials comprises: the disposition of the foundation stock; the clonal propagation methods to use for the production of expansion stock and commercial materials; and, a system of clonal identification. Clone collection comprises materials resistant to ink disease selected for wood production, nut production and rootstocks to graft with varieties of sweet chestnut.
