Summary:

In order to know the nutritional status of kiwi fruit (Actinidia deliciosa) cultivated in acid soils at the Northwest of Spain, the mineral concentration of kiwi leaves from May to October during three consecutive years was monitored in three orchards. Potassium levels were medium to high (1.5 to 2.5 % DM), calcium concentrations were low to very low (1.0 to 4.0 % DM) and foliar magnesium high to very high (0.4 to 1.0 % DM). Leaf mineral concentration was significantly affected by the sampling time for calcium and magnesium, and by the year for calcium and potassium, probably related to different fertilizer inputs, being less substantial the differences among orchards in the same year.
